The Son of Man. That's a phrase that has always kind of stood out to me. Probably because often my assumption is that Jesus and I are completely separated in the sense that he is God and I'm just some human. It seems to me that every time I get to thinking that someone brings up that phrase again, that title of Son of Man. Really it brings me back to the "I am" statement; 'I am' kept in safety wherever I go (Psalm 91:11). God has shown his glory in my life by his protecting of my heart and mind. I doubt and he dunks. Then he sends his son down, THE Son, to experience what I experience, but then to take it farther and make sure I'm always safe. THE Son of Man, as fleeting as that idea sometimes is, it is still 100 percent true and 110 percent more comforting. I love these constant reminders of Who Jesus is.
