This devo really reminded me of the I am statement, I am a Child of God. The fact that Jesus is saysays ing that he is The Son of Man, and he was claimed that title and was proud to be The Son of Man, why is it so hard to accept that we are children of God?
The one thing that does really stand out to me was the verse Mark 10:43-45
It really stood out to me how it says that Jesus did not come down here to be served, but to serve and to give His life for others. It just really reminds me about what our lives, not just this summer should be all about. Yes, we serve on the water and that is why we are dedicating our summers to be out on the water, but Jesus dedicated His whole life to others, and gave it up for our ransom, so why can't we do the same?
