Hey y'all, I am sorry I missed last weeks devotion, so I am filling it in this week.
When we are baptized, the water finds every nook and cranny and cleans it. Nothing can hide from the water. In the same way, nothing can hide from the Holy Spirit when you enter into the covenant with the Trinity. Same as the water which washes away all the dirty filth off our bodies, the Holy Spirit forgives all our sins.
I think that it is a very cool thing that Jesus refers to Himself as "THE Son of Man". It is the same as Jesus saying we can be a peer of His if we choose to be. As Christians, how can we elevate ourselves in our own minds above other Christians when Jesus, the God whom we follow, brought Himself down to our level? This is something that I will definitely have to work on and pray about.
