looking at the way Jesus refers to himself as THE son of man reminds me also of the way he refers to himself as THE way, truth and life, THE vine, and THE light. There is only one way to eternal life! through Jesus. That is special because the only value that has meaning is the one we find in Jesus and what he's done to make us new. 

The bread of life points me to the Lord's prayer. "Give us today our daily bread." He is so necessary for survival on a daily basis. The great thing is that I know in looking forward to tomorrow, that he will again be the bread of life then as he is now. so there is not much reason to be anxious or stressed, but be mindful of the meal that Jesus has put before me today.
