Hey SonShiners! Alex Here,
Hope everyone is having a great week. Again, like all of these readings, this journal directly correlates to most of the experiences I have in the week. Wether it's at school or work there is always the daunting trials of evil scattered throughout our days; it starts to build up and then my weakness starts to show. Instead of being the stronger person, I'm in bondage to evil and act out harshly or say something out of retaliation. At the end of the day I'm so full of guilt and shame for the way I've acted I need to pray. Following the prayer, God puts the image of Christ and the literal Hell he went through to his journey to the cross, and how he never once acted out to those who hated him, but instead accepted the heavy burden of all their/our sins. It's humbling to think of how He lived his life. He is so strong in spirit and faith. Strength is being humble, not resisting, not retaliating, yet it's looked at as Weakness in the world. God uses these weaknesses to bring us closer to Him, and when we are close to God through Christ, we are far stronger.
